Mortgage Marketing - What Your Client Wants
Your business depends on the success
of your marketing efforts. If your
marketing works, you'll get rich. If it
doesn't you'll go broke. It's simple. The key to pursuading your customers
is knowing them. You have to understand them
inside and out. While I don't pretend to
know your market as well as you do, there are
a few things every customer wants. Your customers want a good deal. Sounds
like a no-brainer but there's a lot that goes
into this. The rate you get for your client should
be as low as you can get it. The program you
sell them should be the best fit for their
unique situation. And the fees you charge
should be reasonable and fair. But there's more to a good deal than
this. Your client should walk away feeling
like they got a good deal. This is vital to
your referral marketing efforts. Your prospect wants the process to be
stress-less. This is a tough one. Buying or
refinancing your home is a big deal. Do
everything you can to make it as easy and
hassle?free. Keep your client fully informed and be
sure they understand their choices. Don't
overwhelm them with paperwork or jargon. Be
polite, punctual and honest. These things sound simple. And they
are. But you can never hear them often enough.
Your sales depend on them. The best marketing
in the world can't help you if you make the
loan process unpleasant for your clients. To Your Prosperity, David A. Wells David A. Writing A Marketing Strategy
It is my belief that if anyone is to suceed in any type of business then the business needs to be marketed to it's target consumers in an effective manner. In order to do this effectively rather than in an ad hoc, probably expensive, manner I propose the construction of a marketing plan.
This is something you can do yourself quite simply, but it will need some time for research and thought if it is to be worthwhile and achieve results.
Take The Test: Does Your Marketing Copy Sell?
Your marketing materials must grab your prospect's attention long enough to
convince them to investigate further. Assuming you get past this hurdle, your
piece's message must next convince the reader to call or buy.
How to Discover your Primary Market and Where to Find Them
Whether you market online or offline, you already know the shot-gun approach to marketing brings few results. You will sell more products and services when you step back and set up a strategy to reach your targeted market.
Four Super-Deadly Marketing Sins - And How To Fix Them
How Do I Define My Market?
Your market is who you want to reach. Your customer. Who is your average customer? What is your estimate of total market size? What territory do you intend to serve? Will you offer a variety of products or services?
What Your Customers Want
Your customers don't know what they want. And to assume otherwise is folly. When you begin relying totally on customers to be your product development department, you are asking for serious trouble.
Connect to Your Customers with Superb Sales Letters
In the age of e-newsletters and e-mail, you may not consider a sales letter, sent through the regular old postal service, as a viable means of contacting your target market. But the traditional sales letter has not gone completely by the wayside. Need proof? Just look at your own mail. Chances are you get some form of sales correspondence (read: "junk mail") in your box every day.
Your Marketing Plan - Prerequisite to Success
Marketing is a vital aspect of a business' operations. It
has been said that, "Nothing happens in business until a
sale is made". Marketing is about how sales are made and
marketing planning is about being proactive in determining
how sales are to be made. Developing a marketing plan is
the tool businesses use to overcome weaknesses in
competitiveness and to increase sales.
Fax Marketing : Reaching a New Niche of Customers
Traditional marketing and advertising assumes that all of your customers are traditional people. Even newer technologies like email assume that the best way to reach people is when they are at their computers. But think about it ? there are plenty of people who move around and work on the go. Checking email may be a lower priority, and may be a task they only tend to once a day, once a week, or whenever they get around to it. When your target customers aren't checking their email, your email advertisements aren't being seen. Fax marketing can help reach this niche of customers by matching their fast-moving, real-time work style.

Your Plan For Marketing Success
The most important, yet overlooked aspect of marketing is an actual written marketing plan A business simply cannot succeed without marketing. Whether you are a one person business or have 50 employees, you simply must have a marketing plan to succeed.
The Anatomy of Hype
On a copywriting board I frequent, someone expressed
bafflement that several respected marketers criticized the
tone of a sales page he wrote. "Why did they apologize to
their subscribers while linking to my pitch? This approach
sells," he said.
Stop Your Marketing Leaks
Thirty percent of all the drinkable water that runs between the plant and your faucet is lost to leaky pipes. In marketing, thirty percent of our business is lost to leaky follow up. Even professional sales people have leaky follow up when they stop after one or two contact points.
Marketing Planning - Preparation and Accountability
We all know the saying, "Failing to plan (prepare) is planning (preparing) to fail." I truly believe in this statement and I hope you do as well. Building your service business, including marketing it must be planned and does take work.
Marketing For Just Cause
Cause marketing is a relationship between a for-profit and a nonprofit that brings in money and resources for the nonprofit, while providing credibility and goodwill for the business.
If My Work is Good Enough
"If My Work is Good Enough, I Shouldn't Have to Market, Right?"
Assumption Based Marketing Vs. Fact Based Marketing
One of the most common mistakes in marketing is making decisions based on assumptions rather than fact. You think of an idea for a marketing piece and believe that it is a great idea.
